Nigel Bainbridge BPC, UKCP FPC
Nigel worked as a counsellor for the Samaritans in 1997 and subsequently MIND in 2003. He went on to train as a psychodynamic psychotherapist at Roehampton University/WPF London in 2004. Post qualification he worked at the WPF therapy clinic in Kensington and London Bridge as an honorary psychotherapist. In 2011 he went on to form a private practice at Mansion House in the City of London.
Today Nigel offers counselling services with Greenwich Counselling and Psychotherapy. Therapy is provided on an open ended or short term basis depending on consultation and individual needs. He has experience of working with anxiety, depression, family and relationship problems, sexual identity, addictions and various employment and education pressures.
Nigel is an accredited member of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and the Council for Psychoanalysis and Jungian Analysis within the the UK Council for Counselling and Psychotherapy (UKCP). As such Nigel is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). He is a member of the Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC) and is bound by their requirements for continuous professional development and their code for good practice. He is fully insured and has clinical supervision in place.
